Create an itinerary with some of these sight-seeing spots in mind: The sunset celebrations in Mallory Square with its street performers and jovial atmosphere. Smathers Beach (approximately a half mile long) is the largest public beach in Key West and not to be missed. The Key West Lighthouse on Whiteheads Point, first lit in 1849, offers some of the rich history that Key West is known for.

Cruise Biscayne Bay in Biscayne National Park and snorkel in Elliot Key, then go ashore to explore the the magnificent nature trails. Key Largo with its stunning barrier reef will give you some of the greatest snorkeling experiences available. If you’re interested in fishing, then check out Islamorada. It’s a fishing paradise.
