The Reopening of St. Lucia
The Reopening of St. Lucia
Saint Lucia Officially Opens its Borders!
Saint Lucia is one of the Caribbean destinations opening up to travelers this summer and we, for one, are excited to hear the news! Starting this week, travelers from outside the Caribbean region will be able to enter Saint Lucia if they’re able to meet certain requirements.
What to Expect:
As of July 9th, 2020, all passengers arriving from outside of the Caribbean must be able to show negative results of a Covid-19 test taken within 7 days of arrival. Also- there will be a required Pre-Arrival Registration Form that travelers must fill out before flying to the island. Details of the testing protocols and examples of the registration forms can be found here.
Check out The Saint Lucia Hospitality & Tourism Association for any further details on what to expect regarding the island’s hospitality industry. Saint Lucia’s Covid-19 Dashboard is another great resource to keep up to date.
And now here’s just a small list of things that make St. Lucia a sailor’s paradise:
-
- Natural Wonders, Ideal Trade Winds and Calm, Blue-Green Water
- Stunning Views of the Magnificent Pitons and Pristine Beaches
- Steady Winds that Delight Avid Sailors and First-Timers Alike
- One of the Very Best Spots in the Caribbean: Marigot Bay!
- The Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival
